Frequently asked questions
What does Gmail access actually let you see?
We request read-only access, used only to detect application threads and replies on them — sender, subject, and a short snippet, never to send mail on your behalf or touch anything outside that purpose. See the full privacy policy for specifics.
An application I submitted isn’t showing up — why?
Detection is based on common phrasing in application and confirmation emails, so an unusually worded one can slip through. Add it by hand from the dashboard instead — it'll behave exactly the same as an automatically detected one from then on.
Is this free?
Yes.
What are the notification channels, exactly?
In-app (shows up in the notification bell), push (a real phone/browser notification — install the app from your browser first), and email. Each timer has its own settings for which are on and how long a silence has to run before you hear about it.
What happens when I hear back outside of Gmail — a phone call, a portal message?
Open the timer and use "I heard back — reset timer." It resets the clock exactly like a detected email reply would.
Can I delete a timer?
Yes, from the timer’s detail page. That’s permanent.
More detail on the mechanics is in how it works, and the data specifics are in the privacy policy.
