How it works
The short version: your inbox already knows the status of every application. This just pays attention to it so you don’t have to.
Timers start themselves
Once you've connected Gmail, we watch for the kind of email that means you've applied somewhere — either you emailing a company directly, or a company's hiring system confirming it received your application. The moment we see one, a timer starts for that thread.
Replies reset the clock
If a company writes back on that thread, the timer notices and resets — silence only ever counts from the last time you actually heard something, never from the day you applied.
Didn't apply by email? Add it by hand
Plenty of applications happen through a portal with no email trail at all. You can add a timer yourself with just a title and, if you have one, a link to the posting. It behaves exactly like an automatic one — you just tell it when you've heard back, instead of us detecting a reply.
You choose what counts as quiet
Every timer has its own threshold — how many days of silence before it's worth a nudge — and you can have it repeat on a cadence instead of alerting just once.
Nudges arrive wherever you want them
Three independent channels, on or off per timer: in-app, push notification (works on your phone once the app is installed from your browser), and email.
